How to Add the Live Preview Button to Your Shopify Art Store

Once you've installed Picture It, make sure you've activated your first product to see the button appear.

We want to ensure our app is compatible with ALL themes, so we provide you with flexibility on the preview button placement:

1. Add the Preview Button

1. Add as an App Block: If you're on a OS 2.0 or higher, you can add the button directly into your CSS as an app block. This can be fully customized within the Theme Editor
   
   
2. Add as an App Embed: For older themes, you can still add a preview button as an App Embed. This button will be floating on your product page and it's location and look can be fully customized in the Settings.

2. Customizing

For Theme Blocks: This button can be customized directly in your Theme Editor. Theme blocks can inherit the styling of your store by using CSS classes, which you can enter in the "Button CSS Class" input. You can also add an icon to make it stand out!

For App Embeds: This button can be customized in the Settings of your Picture It app.

3. Troubleshooting

If you're using an app block and experience your button appearing for a second then disappearing, this is most likely due to your store's caching. To fix this, please follow these steps:

1. Remove the button
2. Click "Save"
3. Add the button back
4. Click "Save" again

If the issue persists, try deactivating your products that are experiencing the issue and activating them again. If the problem persists, please get in touch at help@pictureit.co.
